I spent two weeks last winter auditing a permissions dashboard that had grown into a blue fog: panels, exceptions, archived teams, no load path visible. The breakthrough was not another filter. Make the load path public
A good interface can tolerate complexity when the forces are named. In our February build, every rule gained a visible attachment point: who set it, where it lands, what it carries. The result felt less like decoration and more like daylight passing through an engineered frame.
