I spent January moving our desk from a hosted wallet to a two-of-three cold setup in a rented room above a print shop in Porto. The work was not glamorous: seed plates, courier logs, firmware hashes, and a whiteboard covered in failure drills.

A reserve asset deserves fewer dashboards and more ceremony around who can move it.

The interface should make delay feel normal

Most financial apps are optimized for motion: swipe, approve, repeat. A serious treasury tool should do the opposite, making every withdrawal slow enough for a second operator to notice the shape of the transaction before it leaves the vault.
