A readable system has to admit its conditions
Last winter, I moved our interface review out of the screen and onto the bench. At 02:14, a strip of GFP-lit wells told us more than a week of dashboards: the culture was healthy, the handoff was not, and every delayed decision left a visible stain in the log.
That changed how we built MORPHIC. Each run now carries its temperature, passage number, and uncertainty beside the result. The green trace is not decoration; it is a signal with a half-life. In the morning, the team reads the same evidence, then chooses what to grow next.
