We redesigned the final moments of the shopping journey — and everything changed.

There is a moment in every online purchase that most brands completely ignore. It happens right after you tap "Checkout" — that brief, anxious pause where trust is either built or broken. We spent the better part of last autumn studying this exact moment, watching real shoppers navigate payment flows that were never designed to feel good. The data was damning: forty-two percent of users hesitated for more than eight seconds before entering their card details.

The Problem With Progress Bars

Traditional checkout flows treat payment like a necessary evil. Step one, step two, step three — a linear march toward a confirmation screen that feels more like a receipt than a reward. But shopping is not linear. The person buying running shoes at midnight is chasing a feeling, not following a flowchart.
