The tower made the night feel engineered

A January opening, a Y-plan flower, and the moment glass stopped pretending to be quiet.

From the deck at 8:30pm, Downtown was not a skyline so much as a control surface. The lake flashed aged gold, the boulevard bent into steel blue, and the tower kept stepping inward until its glass became a measurement of ambition.

Height became interface

The important decision was not simply to build higher. It was to make the structure legible: tripartite buttresses, repeated setbacks, and a plan abstracted from a desert flower until the engineering read like a civic diagram.
